I was going to have a give away . . . .
I was going to have a give away and offer a Garmin Rino 120 handheld GPS. I now use a 130, and this was my old one that Sandy would use.
I like them because they have the FRS/GMRS radio system with them so we can talk to each other, and they have the polling system so every time we would key the radio, it would update our positions on the GPS as a waypoint and we could navigate to each other as needed.
I sold my deer lease position and the trailer, and had gone down and cleaned the trailer out. Brought back all our stuff, and the Rino's were part of that.
Was going through the box separating the stuff and she saw me set it aside. She asked me what I was going to do with it and I told her I was going to give it away.
She said not to do it yet, because she wants to still get out and do some hiking if she can keep improving.
I told her I didn't want her out of my sight for the next few years, and when she was ready, I would buy her a new one. She said, "Don't count me out so easily".[V]
I did a bad thing![V]
