Speaking of shameless, my birthday is coming up, David. And you know that I have a true appreciation for older Smiths...

    I'm just sayin'.

    From the auction listings:

"The gun is currently in the possession of an heir to Dr. John Hall. The owner knows what he has, and is not going to give it away. That's why there is a reserve. Please don't email or call asking what the reserve is. If you are a SERIOUS Smith & Wesson collector, and are serious about buying this gun, you will hit the reserve early and easily. If not, then, well, you weren't that serious about it, were you?

"I have put other guns of Dr. Hall's on Gunbroker, and we may have had to relist them a time or two, but ultimately, the right gun will end up in the hands of the right buyer, at the right price. We are in no hurry."

I am in the possession of a 224 Kay Chuk that went through a house fire in the mid '70s. Don't know if it was a Bennett Gun works conversion, I suppose other people converted them too? This is the only other one I have ever seen.
