Is this ammo any good?
I want to purchase a large order of ammo from the sportsmens guide.The brand name is American ammo it says its reloadable and copper jacketed,will this ammo cycle a semi-auto handgun?And is it any good for just plinking?

Many moons ago I heard that the brass was difficult to reload for some reason (not being a reloader I don't recall what that reason was)

I shoot Federal American Eagle in my M1 Carbine. The gun loves it, but every now and then I do get a hot round or two. 0 -
The Federal American Eagle is really good ammo. I have been shooting it for practice ammo for 12-15 years (I guess) at work. Never had any problems with it and have lots of it for my personal use. We practiced with the AE and switched to the Federal line of JHP for carry.
We ran many rounds of it thru 9mm, 45ACP, .223 and .308, all making excellant hits on targets.
