...I wanna run for President. Here are my some of my views:
1. Welfare Reform - prove to me that you need it. You must be crippled and unable to work- period! Not because you are a drunk, lazy, or addicted to drugs. Nor because you are fat, eat potatoe chips and wear spandex.
2. Social Security - follows some of the #1 guidelines. Provides income to people age 62 and up who have demonstrated a life of working to provide for themselves or their familes. No free handouts for free loaders. Benefits to kids until age 18 whose parents or a parents died.
3. Enviroment - provide funds for gasoline alternatives and look for fuel oil alternatives for heating seasons. Protect our parks, state, federal or locally owned. Limit use of said lands to protect the delicate plants and animals, avoid stress on the animals from snowmobiles and ATV's.
4. Taxes - everyone pays there share, based on one percentage and not different rates for people of little money and those with a lot of money. One tax paid to one agency and let them divide it to the feds, state and local governments.
5. Borders/Illegal Aliens - close them down except for those with proper papers; Visas, students, work permits, etc. Illegal aliens will be returned to where they came from whether it be one or one-hundred. Establish a national ID upon which your drivers license or state photo id would be included. The Id would also provide thumb prints,access to criminal records for law enforcement, information for public service records (welfare, etc.). Failure to carry, maintain a current address, or display same upon lawful reason, $1000 fine plus 30 days in jail.
6. Health Insurance - provide a national health care based upon minimal patient costs for doctors visits, prescriptions, dental and eye services. All patients would be included in a donar program. Law suits could only be brought after 1 year of a discovery period and allowed to proceed after a review by a board of examiners which would also include common citizens summoned lottery selection.
7. Crime - treat criminals like the criminals. No dropping of charges to plea bargining. Charges can only be dropped if the prosecution can not provide proper evidence to back the charge. Judges who don't punish criminals accordingly for their acts, will be disbarred. Victims have more of a say in the jail and punishment handlings. No convicted criminals will collect any public welfare, SSI, SSD or other benefits will incarcerated. All proceeds will go to the victim for restitution. Repeat offenders will loose all rights to public assistance funds forever.
8. Drugs - once is enough! Rehab once on the government, second time you go to jail for a minimim of 7 years. We have educated the public on this enough, time to stop the slap of the hands. Caught dealing, you loose your house, car, bank accounts (singular or joint accounts) and other possesions except for clothes, pan,plate, fork, spoon and a knife.
9. Guns - use them in any illegal crime, you pay the price. Follows the same in # 7 & 8. Can't hold dealers, manufactures or stores that sell them according to the established laws of the land responsible for anyones' illegal acts once the weapon is legally bought. Would make it a law that all owners must maintain a list of weapons they own by make , model, serial# and description, to be kept on their premises and accesible in the case of a theft.
10. Military - place people in responsible roles of border defense. Provide full support of the men and women in the military with better services ie; updated medical facilities and staff, pay, family benefits, etc. Review the the need for deployment to half-assed countries that fight continually for a "piece of the rock". Stay prepared for a fight with the newest equipment and enough of it to go around. Selling or trading the old technology to other countries and not our best.
11. World Trade - get rid of the NAFTA. No more jobs lost to overseas markets or third world countries. You wanna go there, go, but pay large tariffs on the goods you bring back plus a limit on the quanities you can export back to the USA. To the other countries, you wanna deal with us, we offer to deal, but be warned, stab us in the back and we shut the doors. No finicial accounts in this country, no parts or services, no onwerships of buildings or businesses - singular or jointly owned.
