Into Thin Air

We were about to leave this afternoon and I realized I might want a jacket in case we didn't get home until late.

I came back into the house, grabbed my jacket and a couple other items and headed back out; I get to the truck and I don't have my keys.

I have retraced my steps a half a dozen times and still can't think where I might have laid them down and why I would have done that rather than clipping them to my belt loop.

    They are probably in the truck, or on something on the way from the house to the truck....

    A lot of times the only way you will find them is to walk away, get involved in tv or something else, forget about them....and when you get up to to something or go to the truck, you will find them in plain view....

    You set them in the worst place you could think of knowing that you wouldn't forget where they were. They'll turn up, meanwhile, get some exercise walking[:D][:D]

    Sylvia says on the Montel Williams show that spirits will take keys and return them to where you left them last. Meanwhile, you go nuts looking for them. Scary! [:p][:p][;)][:D]

    Actually I found them in a place I am sure I had looked once before, so I'm not totally discounting Sarge's theory either.
