    First, politicians totally ignore these types of petitions, no matter how many signatures are on them. Second, they rarely pay attention to (or at least rarely act on) petitions, that are hand written and delivered, unless done so by a large contributor or bunch of contributors OR presented in a VERY public venue. I don't see ANY of them getting worried, indignent, enraged, upset, or even grouse about the illegal immigration problem. NONE of them.

    Done. I just emailed my legislators about illegals. It went something like this. I keep hearing the phrase "Do it for the children". How many more children have to be molested,raped or murdered by illegal aliens? How many more children must die because of a drunk illegal alien behind the wheel? When is some politician going to stand up and say let's get the illegal aliens out of this country, let's do it for the children.

    People on here seem to be from just about every state in the union,maybe if we all wrote something similar it might start to sink in.
