Any of you guys who are living near or going to Galveston, There is a sulphur co. there. Buy and storing sulphur is NOT a problem by any law. (1/3 of gun powder) By the way conroe use to have a charcoal co. out N.E. of there. Still trying to find a bulk source of salt petre. If you know of one up near Nashville let me in on it.
Please do not try this without looking up the proper recipt. Do follow all the directions to the letter. Always keep at least enough mix to make 20 pounds powder. Learn to shoot and take care of a flint lock.

    Post apocalyptic scenario looks to be getting closer and closer.

    When I get some ahead, I plan to seriously look at a black powder/flintlock battery.

    Where is the best place to purchase saltpeter/potassium nitrate ??

    There's some other oxygenating agent that works better than salt petre but I don't recall right now what it is....
