Price check- Mossberg 100 .243 for raffle

Our Lions club is having the annual raffle at our county fair in October.

A local pawn sold us a new Mossberg 100 for $237.00 including 8.25% sales tax.

We believe that he gave gave us a good deal.[:)] List shows $351.00

    I went to the IRS website and found many Lions clubs listed as bona fide not-for-profit corporations.

    Maybe Texas is different but in Indiana that's all one needs to show to be exempt from sales tax.

    Not a bad price, even with tax.
