Considering A Dutch Auction
I am the owner of approx. 20 boxes of Italian Carcano ammunition (7.35mm). It's all apparently Italian military and each box contains 18 rounds with clips (six rounds per clip). My question is, "is a dutch auction the best way to sell it ?". I've never done a dutch auction before and don't know the positives and negatives.

I sold some ammo on a Dutch Auction once and swore I would never do it again.
You have to sell all of items at the lowest winning bid price. I think that sucks. It is possible (but not likely) that you could end up having to ship to 20 different buyers.
My suggestion would be put them up 4, 5, or 10 boxes at a time and either relist after each sale or run more than one auction at a time.
Good luck.0
