    They are polymer grips, Ivory being scarce and to 'dear' for me to make them everyday. These, with what I want to do with them, would run in the $100.00 to $130.00 range. I will be adding more detail and color.

    If they were blackline, it would probably be in the $80.00 range, perhaps $90.00 depending on the extent I go to.

    I have seen a lot of different scrimshaw designs on white pistol grips and your design is the only one I have seen that I really like.

    If you need some blanks to fool with, give a shout. Email is in profile.
    Sure, they are wood, but as the saying goes, "if it is free, it is for me".

    We miss the "Cowboy" signature. I never did get it flash-animated, but I did try.

    How's the BP shooting going? I've developed a greated interest in it since reading these Aubrey books. Makes me want to get a pair of vintage dueling pistols. Arrr!

    They look great! Only thing I might have done different would have been yellow for the eye. To me the eye looks hidden a bit with the 2 darker colors together.

    Just an opinion that is not ment to take away from the great work there.

    Excellent!!
    I'll take em.
    Maybe you could put a buy now on GB and I'll buy em.

    Thanks everyone for your encouragement.

    Git-er-dun;
    I thought the red might be too dark myself, I could go back and change it but then I might not be satisfied with that either so I'll probably leave them as they are. If I do another set similar to these I may use the yellow, but then the perverseness of my nature would probably make me change all the colors.

    Njretcop;
    I too am waiting for the "Aces and Eights'[:o)] You ever have one of those projects, you like, you want to finish but the "need" to do so hasn't struck you yet? Well now I'm off work again, hopefully just for a short time, I may feel the "Need" between fishing and working on the boat and looking for a job, to finish them.[:)]

    Sperry;
    I may take you up on that offer. Wood is a bit more difficult to 'scrim' but not impossible. The grain of the wood and hardness have a lot to do with it. I have thought of doing some ivory inlays on wood grips and would like to try it. The only thing, I usually mess up a set of grips when I'm trying to do something "new".

    MVP;
    I'll place them in the fleamkt for a week or so to see how they do. If they don't sell there I probably could put them on GB and see what they'll bring. They're s'posed to be 1911 grips,I'm not an expert. That's what the guys says so I'll take his word. I don't know if they'll fit all the clones out there or not. Someone told me they would.

    That's AAHHRRRGGGGHHH! to you to guy.[:D]
    I've thought about bringing the cowboy back but just haven't done it yet. May do so now.

    There has been a dearth of BP shooting in my life the last year. I intend to make up for that this week somewhat. Hope to get to the range or out in the wood and shoot all three of the pistols and maybe the rifle. I have some targets but I thing they will be safe while I shoot. Need to get someone out with me who really can hit what he shoots at.[:D]
