stuck round in 22 rifle.

I have aquired a 22 rifle with what appears to be 2 rounds stuck in the barrel. One is aprox 2" from breech and one is aprox 2" from muzzle. Any suggestions how to get it unstuck?!!! I tried cleaning rods and did not move either one. Any help ??????!!!!!

    Gently heat the barrel. The trapped gasses will expand and start forcing the bullet(s) out. Yes, there may be others inbetween the two you have located.

    Keep the barrel pointed in a safe direction, preferrably into a bullet trap.

    Aprox 2" from the breech and what appears to be another 2" from the muzzle..

    Could the barrel have been plugged at one time with lead or solder?

    What about a small long drill bit and CAREFULLY drill into the the "round". If it is a 22 round the drill bit will go completely through it and allow you to get a feel for what is behind it as far as being completely plugged or just hung rounds.

    I have done this. After drilling, since it has no center (not solid) it is easy to dig they rest out.

    I once had the same problem with a 22 Marlin model 60 rifle I got from a friend.I took a extra aluminum cleaning rod and filed a couple of teeth into the end of it.Then I chucked it into the end of a adjustable speed drill.I drilled it at slow speed with a little oil to keep it cool.It only took a few minutes to clear out several stuck slugs.A good cleaning and a check for damage like a bulged barrel.Shoots just fine.

    Be sure to let us know what you used to remove the unwanted slugs. BTW, what model rifle is it?
