    Howse come it has wood grips in the auction pics, but in the pic up above it has a different kind of grips? Maybe the one in your post here isn't the actual one?

    Thanks I got your mail. I had owned two New Model Super Blackhawks in the past, one I got for $175 and the other for $150. I "upgraded" to a S&W 29 which I really like but I always regretted not keeping one of the Rugers.

    I picked this one up from the elderly gentleman who had purchased it new and I sure wish I could afford to keep it but after ol' Jim Beam kept urging me to hit the bid button last week (a rifle and 2 handguns in one day) something had to go to make up for it.

    I'm glad to get the H&R with 2 cylinders but I really thought the other guy would outbid me on the Savage.
