Given the almost cult status of these I'm running this one for a week.

Don't be afraid to jump right in there and bid $300 to start with. [;)]

Henry, I'd buy that if I were into collecting those type pieces anymore. It would seem to make not only a very good collectible for some beginners, but it could also double as a good utility type game getter. I don't ever recall seeing one having the stock and forearm made of "tenite" which seems to make it all the more special for people who do collect them.

If you are not an FFL holder why do you insist on a signed in ink copy of the license?

I feel that the EZ Chek printout, a photograph of the package, and my insured postal receipt are adequate to cover my @$$.

Simply because "most" people expect a seller to ask for one.
People can be suspicious of ANY change, so I put that in the action description. When I contact the winner after the auction, I just tell them to give me the "number" of the FFL, if they want to do it that way. I check it, and as long as it's going to the same name and address as the EZ Chek reads, I ship it. If they want to send a hard copy, that's OK too.

Didn't mean to hijack your thread.
I have not seen one with a stock like the one you have. Seen a few satin ones. Since they are not real similar, didn't think it would hurt, if you feel differently, I'll remove my post. Let me know.

Good luck with your auction, even if it is going to that tax man. [:(]

Heck no! I don't mind. I even put in a bid or two on yours.

I was at an auction today and they had one just like yours but in near mint condition. It sold for 420.00 bucks.

You mean I can call in my credit card number and my FFL holders number to get a gun? I knew I could fax an FFL but didn't know I could call the number in if that IS the case.

An FFL dealer must obtain and keep on file a signed or faxed copy of a the FFL to whom he/she ships a firearm.

An individual is under no such obligation. I consider a print out of the EZ Chek form and a receipt from the post office for an insured shipment adequtate to cover my obligation.

I have a 24c-DL 22mag/410 that my dad got mail order, as a premium for wholesale grocery purchases. Guess it was a few years ago.
