*sigh* I know that what other people are asking isn't necessarily a good gauge of value but:

I could only find one other ANIB example here and the start is $225

There is a used example that the asking is $249.

I have searched and searched and I'm not finding any wholesalers that are still offering this unissued Poles. I don't think $200 is too much to ask for rifle that is AS NEW except for a few storage dings.

Your pablost12 wouldn't accept an email through the forum.

I know the arsenal reconditioned Russians are plentiful but that's not quite the same as unfired.

Henry you are not over priced on the unissued Polish. Polish is the key thing.

I sold two of them about 1 1/2 years ago right here on gunbroker and they both went for 180.00 and the buyers were extremly happy.

...seem fair to me, unissued as it is, very nice!

... I have a 91/30 and 39 or 44(?) dont remember which one ...the 91/30 looks like it was dragged down a rock road, the carbine is unissued, and kicks like a mule...[;)]

...them commies built their rifles like tanks, but they sure are ugly...kinda like my Rugers...[^]

I had an email from someone wanting to confirm the pristine condition.

I'm hoping that means a bid is forthcoming.

I reckon I went as high as I can, Henry. Good looking Pole, I sold one a few years back for $190. Your's is still at a fair price after a couple bids!

I'm not sure, but I know this one is since it is more than 50 years old.

The one in the link on my above post has a 1970 date. Possibly just a barrel date ?

    My Dearest Mr. Henry:
I am a Nigerian orphan. My father was a physician who was killed in the civil war. As the result of settling his estate, I have inherited the sum of 500,000 NR = [that is five hundred thousand Nigerian Rupees].
I am willing to pay you the handsome sum of 500 Nigerian Rupees for the price of this handsome gun maked in Poland.
In order to facilitate the transfer of the 500 Nigerian Rupees I need you to send $1,000. US [one thousand US dollars] to the email address listed below.
Thank you and God bless you I am looking forward to our ensuing financial relationship.

Yep, that's definitely the date the barrel was installed on an original russian hex receiver.
