I came across this gun in my dads collection but have had no luck in identifying it. Can someone offer some help.

It's a Shwangshtable Model 55Z...I don't know, just made that up.

I am pretty sure that is a FRENCH CHAMELOT DELVINGE REVOLVER, maybe
a 1873 model
