Another AK build ... complete?
Yesterday was a good day!
A little over a year ago, when Cope's had the matching number Yugo RPK kits, I bought two and ordered NDS receivers, with numbers to match the kits ... I finally got one of them put together!

I used the Tapco compliance parts kit and an AMD-65 muzzle break, just because I like the look. I haven't decided how much refinishing I'm going to do on this one ... I kind of like this look ... this one has a correctly numbered stock, the other one doesn't. I think I'll put club-foot RPK furniture from Iron Wood on it.

Looks good man. I love the way those look!!!!![8D][8D] 0 -
Rpks shoot well also!
I have a NHM-91 , not as pure an RPK, but very accurate with the bipod removed, just letting you know my group size doubles(or more) using bipod.0 -
Excellent work. 0 -

I haven't gotten to take it to the range yet ...
... I'll be sure to try it with and without!0 -
Looks good. [8D]
You ought to have enough US parts on there to use the original pistol grip.0 -
That would be great if I could, but I was thinking I needed 6 because the muzzle break is an imported part ...
... is my thinking wrong?
Compliance parts are the.
1. Receiver
2. Pistol grip
3. Trigger
4. Hammer
5. Sear
6. Gas piston
Imported parts are the:
1. Barrel
2. Trunnion
3. Bolt
4. Bolt Carrier
5. Muzzle Break
6. Stock
7. Handguard
8. Mag Body
9. Mag Floor Plate
10. Mag Follower0 -
Yep you are right. I use US brakes on all my builds. 0
