Show Us Your *Awards* in any sport
I have many Memorial Awards, [8D]but this one[V]....till this day, I still get Pissed off[:(!]every time I think about it.[:(]
In my early years of shooting[8D]I went To this match.......I was ready[8D].........I was confident[8D].........I was good[8D][;)]......I was going to kick ass[}:)][8D]..........and I did[8D][:p].......And I expected a big[:p]trophy[:)]and what did I get[:0]
THIS STINKING PIECE OF BALONEY[:0][:0][:0][:0][:0]
I never recovered from this disappointment[:(] and that is one of the reasons I'm like I am today[:(]

i myself was shocked to see shooting trophies are kinda cheesy, i've seen better trophies for car show participants, pine wood derby, and tae kwon do
i quit taking pictures after this one, but here are a few of them, i've got about 18 more 1st place ones

Never was very athletic, even when I was younger, so I never played any team sports. But I did get into karate at 18 after high school. Trained pretty hard for about 15 years, then fooled around for another 5 before finally accepting that I was too old and fat to make it work any longer.
Won my first trophy in 1975 (3rd Place Orange Belt Division), my last in 1991 (1st Place Heavyweight Black Belt) and then retired from competition after having won awards in 3 different decades. Finished with a total of 7 trophies, 4 medals and one ribbon.
I also won 4 small trophies in local silhouette matches back in the 1980s.
That baloney may be better than the cheap, plastic trophies!0 -
my first wife took all my tae kwon do trophies, i had a few state trophies in the mid 80's
fshfndr, no, i also got most accurate that day, and shot many matches 0 down since0 -

I have some bowling trophies I don't care to bother to photograph. High game is a 278. I also have a few medals from Camp Perry from Garand and Springfield/Vintage matches- no gold though. 0 -
