question on yugo ammo
there is some Yugo 7.62x39 ammo on the auction side that looks like it is brass cased. Is this ammo any good? It's about $25 for 120 rds, is that a decent deal?

I have shot some of that, seemed underpowered but no problems, I like wolf better, would not pay shipping on such a small quanity 0 -
Was looking for brass cased 7.62 ammo b/c my shooting range does not allow you to shoot steel cased ammo. Guess they don't feel like picking them out before they reload. Anyway, that is why I was looking. So, corrosive just means I need to clean my AK really well after using it right? 0 -

For corrosive you have to use Hot Water or Windex. I've had good luck with Sweets 7.62 bore cleaner. I believe sweets has a high amonia content that kills off the corrosive salts.
Nothing wrong with shooting corrosive ammo as long as you clean your right after shooting it. Don't shoot it and put it away for a week or month w/out cleaning.
Best brassed cased ammo was South African Cheeta 7.62x39. Vector Arms had some awhile back. Ammo was brass, reloadable, and non-corrosive. I bought 500rds back when they had it but wish I had bought more.0
