What is thee best shot you have ever made?

Mine waq slitting the throat of a grouse with a broadhead. No it was not flying .

    I was about eleven years old and was setting off on a "big hunt" with a fellow about my age that lived around the corner from my families house. He rode his bike to my house with his "high powered wrist rocket" and I had mine, sack of marbles in my pocket.
    We went to the left rear corner of my parents lot, which had chainlink fences on it, and as I was jumping up on the fence the fellow asked, "are you any good with that thing? (meaning the wrist rocket)".
    When I reached the top of the fence a dove was spooked up into a tree about 40' from where I was standing up on the fence, one foot on the side fence and one on the back fence.
    I reached into my sack of marbles, grabbed one, loaded it into the wrist rocket and took my shot. It was a good one and it took the doves head right off.
    I turned back to look at the fellow, who was standing there with his mouth wide open and said, "I'm pretty good".

    My best shot (or luckiest) was a 255 yard, flat out running shot on an antelope buck. One shot, one kill. The .300 Win mag flipped him 30 feet through the air. The 150 grain bullet only grazed his breast bone - never penetrate the chest - and the shock of the velocity killed him instantly. It took the does running with him 80 yards to slow down, stop and come back to find out where there buck disappeared to. It is not a shot that I brag on, but it happened nonetheless.

    a rook that was swooping for a pup of mine some years back...i took out a rimmy waiting for it to settle, the bstd didnt so i took a pot shot in flight & hit the mother, at approx 60yds!! 1 shot!!

    couldnt beleive it my self, lucky ?? i aimed ...lmao[:D]

    Definitely my luckiest shot! MANY years ago I was hunting jackrabbits with a friend when we saw one running away at an oblique angle, about 60 -70 yards away. I thought "wth" and raised my Mossberg .22 with iron sights, guessed at windage and elevation, and pulled the trigger. The rabbit went head over a$$ and when we checked we found that the bullet had entered below his left ear and exited below his right eye. Never tried that again - once in a lifetime shot.

    I got a woodpecker with my 10/22 from about 50 yards in the head. That was cool. Best pistol shot was a swinging target out at my uncle's house with my p226 in 9mm. Nothing amazing.

    A single shot from a 41 Remington Derringer folded a gooses neck and he drowned. I had aimed at his body about 15-20 ft away.
    We were about 16 years old on a winter deer hunt without two nickels
    to rub together.
    The goose made a good dinner.

    I was about 6 years old and out fishing with my Grandfather and cousin. My cousin and I carried our slingshots, that our Grandfather had made for us, everywhere back then. Well, there was a "large" black ant on a rock about 15 feet from where I was standing, I grabbed a small pebble and said, "watch this!" then let the small stone fly without even aiming... nailed that ant right off the rock! That was 22 years ago, and I'll never forget that moment! [:D]

    Standing offhand with a scoped .22. Me and a buddy were arguing over whether or not it was a snakes head or a turtles head that was swimming along in the water of his private lake about 60 yards off shore. I bet him $100 it was a snake and another $100 I could hit it. I shot and the snake started rolling. We snagged it with a lure and dragged it in.....hit it right behind the head. That reminds me....that SOB owes me $200 bucks.
