    Theres several small departments that sell their crime guns when they aren't needed for evidence any longer.
    I have bought several from my local Sheriff's office.

    I recently saw the .44-40 that Pat Garret shot Billy the kid with. It was insured during the exhibit for $2.8 Million, some of those crime guns can be worth a lot too. Anything that fired at Bonnie and Clyde would no doubt fetch a price.

    I notice that seller has on most of his auctins that the guns have not been fired or inspected. That kills bidding from me.
