And why don't you respond?

I've noticed that most topics,on average, unless they're related to CGR,HBBG,SEX,or some other stimulating topic aside from guns receive roughly 10% replies. Who are these folks that read these posts and don't reply? Obviously,the topic piqued your interest,as you read it,but yet you won't reply. Why is that? Are you afraid of something? Not the best at spelling,grammar,don't want to blow your covert cover,etc?

I really am curious and would like to know.

Watch the replies to this thread,if there are any,and see if it doesn't average around 10%...[;)]

    I noticed the 10% ratio a few years ago.

    I usually stay away from topics that are polarizing or may ignite into a flame war at any time.
    I also like to actually add something to the conversation, so sometimes that precludes me from responding to the post.
    Also, for the most part the threads about guns are just the same tired "what do you have?" or "which is better?" topics or they are questions that usually get answered within the first few posts.

    I read most of the posts on this board but really dont want my post count to go up much. So I just read them, laugh, and move on to the next one. GRD and I became members just one day apart and look at his post count. He is a faster typer than me I guess.

    I learn more by listening (reading) than by talking (posting replies).
    I am not one who likes to hear himself talk (post).

    My grammer and spelling is some of the worst.
    I have had more grammer teachers on here and learned more about how to spell here then all my 8 years in school[:0][8D]
