Soon to be. Grandaughter #1 will get her liscense next year and guess what she wants? Probably get a mid '90's model with air bag and 4.0 engine. Do they still put the 4.0 in them? Those are two nice ones but they need some mud on the tires![:D]

Had a 79 CJ-5 with the 304 V8, 80 CJ-7/w chevy 350 conversion, and now an 2006 rubicon 4.0L 6 speed, Danna 44's/w air lockers. Sirius radio, Warn 9.0rc winch, two tops hard and soft, and all the other factory options.

To be honest my 06 Rubicon (stock) would eat my past CJ-5 and 7 alive.[:)]

I had an 84 Laredo, loaded, 258 straight six. Served extr3emely well. Threw a rod through the block a little over 200k mi., when we were pulling a small trailer, and 50mi. from home. It had a hole in the block the size of a soda can, but by adding lotssss of oil i drove it rest the way home. By the time we were within a mile of the house the engine was needing more oil and i just kept going. When i pulled up to the house the engine was beginning to sieze from lack of oil. After finding a new motor for it, i loaded it in the trailer and drove it about 7mi. to the mech's place that was going to swap them. That sold me on "Jeep Tough".[:)][:)]

So far the only thing I had to replace on my jeeps was the crankshaft position sensor. The old inline is one tuff motor.

I own half of this one with Dad. No title. No insurance. Pasture legal only. Body and frame comes from the junk yard. Drive train came from a rusted out CJ5. It does alright. Right now the transmission needs to be changed. Jumps out of reverse. As ugly as it looks, the only damage is a small hole knocked in the drivers side floor board a little bigger than a silver dollar.

The Scrambler body is nice. You can haul something in it. Works well with a newborn calf. The cow tends to follow it right up to the barn. Can't haul much on an ATV.

My CJ's were hard on rear main seals. But all in all they were easy to fix in the field. The years they made the plastic wanna be's, No thanks!

Almost forgot about the 69 CJ5 with the V6, mostly a street legal woods buggy.

Does a Cherokee count? [:D] Mine's a 2000 4 wd with the 4 liter 6 and a 5 speed manual tranny. 2-door. Just turned over 104,000 miles, no problems what so ever. Jeep really screwed up, IMHO, when they quit making the Cherokee. Do they even use the 4 liter moter in a Wrangler anymore?

Got a 2004 Liberty that is a great vehicle, just gets crappy gas mileage.

Used only for crawling around in the woods. Bought it for $300 in 2002. Added a 2 in lift and 7:00 x 15 Co-Op tires and Rock Crawler rims. I have less than a grand in it. The kids love bouncing around in it.

Picked this one up today for $4500.00. 1997 V8 auto. 86+ thousand miles. Tight and solid. Not a blemish on it that I have found yet. The guy told me that someone else was looking at it. So instead of waiting until after the shoot tomorrow I went ahead and grabbed it. Only put about 35 miles on it so far and it seems to be worth the price that I got it for.
