When my grandaughter was about 9, she said, "I can always tell when a guy is gay". I thought "I've got to hear this". Sez I, "How can you tell?". She said, "Because they wear flip-flops.". Sure enough, a couple days later I saw two prissy boys wearing them in the K-Mart parking lot. Came home and dug mine out of the closet and stuffed them in the trash can. 0 -

I call them shower shoes, but same thing. I found out there was such a thing in April 1961 and have been wearing them ever since. I must have been gay for forty-six years and nobody bothered to tell me. I'm past due to open up a flouriest shop or interior decorating salon. I should have been rich by now.0 -

jimdeere, Just to add to my last post, as I said, I was not offended by your post. I was just trying to be funny. I should have put one of those smiley thingies at the end, but I didn't.
Even if it had offended me, or anyone else for that matter, I hope you wouldn't let that stop you from posting things your grandchildren said. Some of us enjoy reading the words of wit and wisdom from the youngsters, and it would be a real shame to lose that because of somebody who doesn't have enough skin.
Idahjo remarked a while back that he doesn't think I'm smart enough to be offended. I think he was probably pretty close to the mark. [:D]0 -
