What kind of gun is it? I cannot imagine stealing someone's box.... I don't even open the transfer items at all until the buyer gets to the store to do it themselves.

It's not a matter of "stealing" I just suspect that the owner didn't consider the fact that I might want to ship the gun somewhere else after this deer season.

What box? The shipping box it came in? That can't be what you mean. The factory box that should have been in the shipping box - well that's another story. If that's the case I would: #1 - raise he** (I keep factory boxes) or #2 - get a new dealer.

If it is just a generic brown cardboard gun box, I would not sweat it, just ask him to save one for you, the odds are he gets them in often.

X-RING!!! There is a local dealer who I have bought a coupla guns from. Used him for my first internet purchase and when I went to pickup my gun it was handed to me in a Wal-mart sack. Never went back and now use another dealer for my transfers. Hes 5.00 cheaper too!![:p][:p][:D][:D]
