Dealers Question Form 4473
How many long guns can buy at once on the form ? 4, 5 , 6 ?

Suggest you only buy one at a time to avoid attracting attention to yourself with ATF. If you buy bulk purchases of guns they will have to check you out. 0 -

The only time bulk purchases are reported with ATF is when the transfer has to do with more than 1 handgun. No limit on long guns.0 -

When I call TBI for a background check, they ask if more than one gun is being purchased. Usually they collect info on the first 3 or 4 guns of a multigun purchase, so yes, multiple gun buys at one time
can draw attention.0 -

They ask if its a long gun or a handgun or both. they don't know or ask how many guns or even what make modal SN etc.0 -

The nics does not ask how many, just what kind, the question of how many is coming from TBI.

Dongizmo is right....you list three on one sheet and add a sheet for guns over that number. When calling it in they ask "is this a redemption or sale of a handgun, long gun or both?" That is all they ask...not how many. When you sell more than one handgun to the same person within 5 business days you have to send in a multi-purchase form. You can buy as many as you want...there is no bad number of guns. They are very concerned with how many you sell...now THAT they really care about. 0 -

Locust Fork is this asked if you have a pawn broker FFL "is this a redemption or sale of a handgun, long gun or both?"? I've never had NICS ask me if it was a redemption or a sale. I'm an 01 FFL and am only asked "type of firearm". 0 -
What if you buy one handgun from Dealer A and one handgun from Dealer B withing 5 business days? Is the buyer required to tell this info? 0 -
The store is an 02 license...they know it may be a redemption and I never tell them anything but the FFL #, number of transactions, then start with the person's info. 0 -

So if I picked up my FN 5.7 two Fridays ago and pick up a Glock 26 this Fri, nobody will bother me about it? Both are being transferred from two different dealers to my dealer. 0 -

A business day for purposes of reporting multiple sales of pistols or revolvers is a day that a licensee conducts business pursuant to the license, regardless of whether State offices are open. The application of the term "business day" is, therefore, distinguishable from the term "business day" as used in the NICS context. Example: A licensee conducts business only on Saturdays and Sundays, days on which State offices are not open. The licensee sells a pistol to an unlicensed person on a Saturday. If that same unlicensed person acquires another handgun the next day (Sunday), the following Saturday or Sunday, or the Saturday after the reporting requirement would be triggered, the subsequent acquisition of a handgun would have to be reported on a Form 3310.4 by the close of the day upon which the second or subsequent handgun was sold.

No you don't. But I bet they (whoever runs the Ftip) could track you pretty easily.
When I was still in the business, I sent out a multiple handgun form on myself. Bought 2 1911's at the same time. I figure if there is a special list out there, I'm already on it. Have signed my name to the backs of enough 4473's over my 5+ years.0
