Wolf hikes ammo prices by 10%
I was buying some ammo at Wideners and noticed the 7.62X39 had a note that as of Jan 7, 2007 Wolf had raised its prices 10%.
Wideners is not known for BS hype so if that is true any near futrue purchases should be done promptly to save that extra 10%.
Since Wideners has not raised their price with this they may be one of the few that sets their price on what they actually paid and not what its new replacement cost would be and perhaps that is why I buy most of my ammo from them (Not intentional just when I check everyone's price they are cheaper so its a simple math thing)

I wouldn't use that crappy ammo if it was free. 0 -
ak and sks eat that stuff for breakfast. But they raised it before, it used to be like 45-50 something for 500, now its like 70 0 -
I only use wolf 7.62X39 in an AK type.
Lowrider, what do you shoot in AK-SKS types?
I load for all my real guns.
I do like their match target 22LR which is actually made in Germany.
Please inform me as to how I can get 500 rounds delivered for $70.00.
I will buy a huge amount of the 124gr HP.
500 batches cost more like $100.00 now, sorry to say and with the increase even more.

I buy surplus, brass-cased 7.62x39 ammo from various countries at the gun shows. No steel-cased Wolf, no surplus corrosive ammo. 0 -

WOW
That is a 25% increase at Cabelas over what I bought 7.62x39 from them just 1 month ago.
I bought 1000 rounds that came in their dry boxes at 144.99 with my 20.00 Christmas coupon.0 -
Here's something new to me:

I like these better than Wolf, and the SP in this size is great. Don't know how hot they are, though. I believe this is a fairly new product.0 -
Here's what I think is the best price on FMJ at the present:

Metal prices have skyrocketed, some as much a 110% 0 -
Frogbert, that will be over $100.00 with shipping for 500.
AKA Rotten
Midway is at $91.00 before shipping for 500 so I would guess about $105 or so shipped. Comparing prices in Oct has no meaning today.
Wideners is at $149.00 a case and to stay under the 60 pound increase shipping fee you can order 77 boxes (1,540 rounds or slightly over 1.5 cases) for $252.00 shipped.
That is $3.27 bex box of 20 delivered.
(If one adds 10% to each box of 25 cents before shipping that means $3.52 per box quantity price)
Please post prices that include shipping per case and per box to compare.
If the 10% deal is about to take hold we should find the best price and buy now.
IMO

Their shotgun ammo is made in spain, just like the so-called gold line ammo is yugoslovian/ serbian; which tells me that privi partizian probably makes the ammo and wolf puts their name on it.
Privi makes excellent and accurate ammo (at least for the 7.5 french I tried) and is worth the buy.0 -
I'm sitting on 6k of 7.62x39 maybe I should get one of those 12ga Saiga's.
1000rds of 12ga #6 cost $170 + Shipping with my membership at SG.
