Anyone got another tattoo in mind?
Gonna be 32 on Thursday and getting some more work done. It's gonna be a classic, too.
Spiderweb on my right elbow. Big and bold. Going to have it done with a few broken strands, like the fly broke loose and got away.
Like a few others of mine, this one is like a charm. I got my compass rose so I can always find my way, my crossed wrenches so I can fix anything, and "NOBODY'S FOOL" on my back, so I'm always watching my six. A broken web so no matter how bad I'm stuck, I can find my strength to get back out.
Got some other ideas in the offing, too. I want to incorporate the work on my forearms into sleeves eventually. What I have planned so far is hotrod flames (no "old-school tribal ghost flames" or that BS. Don't even get me started on that satement, either. It is a quote from an obnoxious know-nothing), like '50s traditional flamejob on your '27, around my right wrist (with my crossed wrenches) and Japanese woodcut style waves around my left (with my compass rose). An instructor at school got me the hookup with his artist, too. I've seen his work and it is incredible.
Let's hear 'em, you tattooed freaks!

Just got ink yesterday....me, my dad (who didn't get his first one until about 2 years ago), and my brother all got the same one. It's an outline of Texas with our first and last initials inside of it (we all 3 have the same first and last initial) made to look like an old style cattle brand. 0 -

I have been looking for the right person to do a complete one of a kind custom one for me for quite some time now!
I want an M-1 Abrams Tank with the Camel Cigerettes Camel's head sticking out of the tank!
Around it I want to say Operations Desert Shield/Storm 1990-1991.
I just have not found a person who is good enuff and will also take the time to do the custom drawing.
One of these days![;)]0 -

Where about are you located? I can recommend 3 good shops in the Bay Area, if you ever get out to the West Coast. Chroma, in Phoenix is excellent, as well. I don't have any work from them, yet, but what I have seen is excellent.
Sound advice looking for a good shop or artist you trust.
A friend of mine at school keeps insisting I go to the wife of an instructor who is his buddy. If this instructor isn't an active tweeker, he does a damn good impersonation, and his ol' lady has only been tattooing six months (no apprenticeships or anything). Sorry, but no. I've seen the end results of unprofessional tattooing and poorly done work is the least of one's worries.
I am out east in SC.
If the guy was still alive I would make a trip to San Diego to get it done! I had an old timmer who started doing tattoo's durring WWII who did my Eagle. It too was a custom job as it was a cover up, but it turned out great!
He had a pattern for this eagle but it was too small to do the cover up with, so he just grabbed the needle and did it freehand without ever drawing a single line on paper or on my arm!
Here it is although it is not a great picture you can still see that it was great work!
Also here are my other 2! The scull got messed up when I got hit by a drunk driver and had a major gash on my chest.

I only have the one, but do often consider another..just for balance'
sake.[;)] Prolly something tribal if I do.0 -
one guy I worked with had tattoos all over -with spiderwebs on elbows- ask him how many he had, he'd say "one!" anyways, on each hand, between the thumb and first finger (about where you'd put a pachuco mark I guess) he had a small scorpion. pretty cool, like they're pinching whatever he's holding.
one I liked a lot goes on the back left shoulder, looked like some(thing) put their hand on your shoulder, melted the flesh off and you can see bones & stuff underneath.
classic tattoo? my dad's got "the" Sailor Jerry-type panther-crawling-up-arm tattoo, I used to see the same exact tattoo here and there years ago but now I can't find a pic of it on the 'net anywhere. they all look dorky compared to the original.
dunno, I like the tattoos my dad's got. they all look like Sailor Jerry stuff (not, he said he got them from Sailor Bob in San Diego and some other dude) from mid 60's. winged skull with 13, skull with spider legs and his name, crawling panther, and the naval globe-with-anchor thing.

i would like to get another tattoo...an idea that comes to mind is a silhouette of a man and a woman dancing where the man has a rose behind the womans back, and the woman has a dagger behind the mans back.
or
a human looking heart wrapped tightly in chains and secured with an old fashioned padlock. on the padlock reads "break this"0 -

This is why you never get one where you can't see it yourself. You never know what you're gonna end up with.[;)][:D]0
