What is a three rail motorcycle trailer worth?
I have this trailer I've had for twenty years, needs paint badly but a good solid old trailer with lots of years left in it. I was going to list it on PeeBay and start it at $175.00 but found the listing fee was $40.00 plus pictures etc. Anyone sold one of these or know the going prices on them? I'm just going to put it out in my back yard with a 4Sale sign on it.

I don't know where you are located but I suggest you sell it on Craigs list, which is free by the way. Craigs list is located on the net in most cities in the US.
The other place to sell it is on the Harly Davidson Forum. I have sold lots of things motorcycle using their for sale forum. If you need more info give me a private e-mail.0 -
Sig 232 - thanks for the tip, I'll look into Craigs List today. I'm in the eastern Kansas area which would encompass Kansas City west thru Topeka. 0 -

I have had great success with Craigs list and know they are available in Kansas City and Topeka. Remember you have replace the ad each week if it does not sell in the first week. I have had to keep putting my ad in for several weeks to catch someone who was looking of what I had to sell so don't get discouraged, it may take a while.
Also I imagine you can find free listings on all the motorcycle sites. If this is a dirt bike trailer you could sell it on a Honda or Yamaha site. Google the sites to find the big websites that offer this service. Of course you don't want to have to ship a trailer so you are best served by Craigs list.
In addition you can put up for sale notes on the local bike shops message boards.0 -
You might try any local motorcycle shops too.
Maybe they would have a lead for you or a board you could post a 'for sale' on.
It will probably be pretty easy to get rid of, and not give away either.0 -
I think this is more of a utility type trailer rather than a dirt bike type. I've carried two big (Kaw 1000 LTD and Kaw 750 Mach IV) bikes on it at the same time. I paid $250 for it 20 years ago from an individual and the only difference in it now is paint is gone since I had to store it outside. Built like a tank. 0 -
Be careful. Somebody (**CoughCoughsaxonpigCoughCough!**) might take offense to you guys talking about competing auction sites. 0 -
Whatever you can get out of it.[:D] 0 -
What's its weight rating and where is it located at? 0 -
