The new movie "shooter" is based on the book"point of Impact" by Stephen Hunter. A really good book. I hope the movie does it right. Most movies from books don't.

  There are real world confirmed kills past 1 mile with the .50 cal. I do not know if it was a barrett.

  Last night on future weapons the guy shot the new .416 against one of Barretts guys with a .50. The Barrett guy took 3 shots to get on target, the host, 1 shot. The yardage...............2500 yds.[:0][:p]
