4th of July parade in Seaside, CA

I was headed over to autozone to pick up some parts and I found that there was a parade going on. I decided to watch some of it, and I was really excited with what I saw. The street was lined with people as far as I could see, flags everywhere, tons of people had their own mini-flags, it was pretty neat to see. In an area that is supposed to be super liberal, with plenty of anti-this and that things going on it was really neat to feel the excitement and patriotism in the crowd. I was a little overcome, it made me feel proud that I get to serve this country and all of these people. Thanks to all of you who have served and made it possible for me.

  C[8D][8D]L Thats the nice thing about Seaside/Carmel etc. Up here in Santa Cruz, well you know, do something patriotic and here come the protesters. But I guess thats why I like livening here. If I haven't pissed off one hard core ultra left wing UCSC student at least once a day I am slacking.[:D][8D][:I]
