Blue book -v- GB listings - fun conversation.
I was down at one of the local shops on Sat. and I have been eyeing a nice Browning B-78 in 25-06, they have had on the rack for about 2 months for $1100.00. I asked one of the guys if they had a bluebook and he laughed and said "do you see what they are going for on GunBroker??" I laughed and asked him to show me how many bids are they getting at that price. I said that top book is about $600.00 and I'd give him that today - he said no - so I walked away just laughing.
Since when did outragous auction list prices start dictating what dealers do. They are waiting for suckers also I guess!!!!!

I get the same thing here in Florida from dealers. "Do you know what they are selling for on GA". Yep I know what they are listing for but there are pages and pages of "NO BIDS" . On the auctions many sellers are trying to hook a sucker so the dealers think they can also.[:(] 0 -
you should have asked him how many are sold at that price 0
