    Cartod,
I switched over to the 3Gal jug awhile ago, try
a couple of tablespoons of chicken broth in the
bowl... THAT gets them on it real quick, the
plastic 'odor' goes away after a week or so..
    Good Luck![8D]

I have the Bistro as well. When I first put it down, my lab refused to drink out of it. This was mainly due to the fact that as he drank from it it would "gurgle" and surprise/scare him. He got used to it after a while.
It could also be that it is new and they are used to the old bowl. Don't give them anything else to drink out of and eventually they will drink from it.

Exactly- as my last dog, that gurgle used to scare him our cat could give a rip.
