Tequila, Jarritos & Snow
there's this soda pop from Mexico called Jarritos. every time I drank it, I thought "damn, this was made to go with tequila" well finally I gave it a try and sure enough, it is! heh heh
now, the problem with tequila, I always thought, was it had too much 'syrupy' flavor. at worst, the aftertaste was like chewing on a peice of car tire dipped in Karo syrup. so I got a white tequila to minimize the syrupy flavor and let the pop do the talking. that's the ticket.
I take a shot then a chaser, but the classic drink is to mix it with your soda, put a napkin on top of the glass, quickly turn it upside down then back up again to mix it and make it fizz.
with the recent snowstorms, you can do that and sprinkle a little snow in the glass for added effect. Jose won't let you down, he'll keep you nice and warm on a cold winter's day!
it's cold enough in the fridge, but here I set it outside in the snow. when it's that cold (almost freezing), the buzz is wonderful!
this one bottle should last through a sampler of all of the flavors: Limon, Mandarina, Tutti Fruiti, Pina, Tamarinda, Fresa, and Grapefruit.
strangely enough, it's not so much for the taste of the tequila as it is for the taste of the pop, and then the aftertaste of the Jose Cuervo. almost a day later the aftertaste was still in my mouth, calling me back for more.

I think I might be the only person on the planet that likes cuervo/redbull mixers.
That mixer sounds pretty good. I'd gladly try it.[^]
