Tell your neighbor "Yaeh , hold on I will get you a Hydrocodone" and then go get him an exlax tablet.

Tell him to swish some Wild Turkey around in his mouth. Worked for me in college with no dental.

    Spurge: givette here.

Mark my words. He's going to ask to come in sometime soon. If he does, just watch, he'll be eyeballing every corner of the place.

Don't let this happen. And don't be surprised if he "innocently" starts to ask you about your job. All you will be doing is filling out a pre break-in questionnaire for him. He may seem OK, but you'll soon find out the class of people that come over to his place to visit. He thought nothing of calling emergency services over....over what? Dime to a dollar he knows a lot of people that are willing to accept stolen goods. I've got a gut feeling on this.

....nip this one in the bud. Joe

Oh, he was doing his damndest to get an eyeball around my apartment this afternoon, but I kept him out. I just got done ratting him out to building management and am thinking that all but the defense guns might be finding temporary safe-keeping elsewhere for a while. I am not a happy camper right now.

Man that sucks. As I read it, I'm imagining my apartment in Collinsville. I lived on the second floor in the back corner. It was quiet and private. Real easy for the dude next to me to kick the door in and move me out.

Fortunately, I was quiet and never knew one of my neighbors in my 3 years there. I was shocked when I actually saw one once.

Don't worry he won't last long! Soon he won't be able to pay his rent. But it's tuff having to worry about your place when your not there. Stay sharp.

One reason these types borrow your phone is to keep their own phone number or anything related to them from registering on any taps or call record search the dealer may have on his phone.
With a cell phone tell em your "free" minutes have ran out for the month. How are they going to know what type of plan you have?

Sad. His room-mate (and boyfriend) is a nice guy. The poor sod came home tonight and was milling about outside. I called him over and gave him the low-down. As I type, he's trying to figure out if his BF is in jail or what.

You think you got it bad, listen to this. New neighbor moved in up the road. Met him and his GF as they jogged past the house. A few Sundays ago he phoned me and invited me to come up and see his new gun, a $900 .40 caliber, and do some shooting. I went up, he had built a shooting range behind his house. I felt kind of embarassed using my old United States Property .45 ACP. After shooting, he invited me in, had me sit down in his rec room, put Beethoven's Sixth on the surround sound, had his GF make and bring me a Margarita and we spent a pleasant afternoon talking guns and shooting.

I can't stand neighbors like this. How am I ever going to handle it?

Penny his door jam, then stick the open end of a paper bag filled with shaving cream under the door crack. Knock, and when you hear him trying to open the door, jump on the bag. Then leave.

Sounds like he may be DEA: the ones I saw were unbelievably shoddy-looking. May have been entrapment day.

So this twit lives two doors down from me. It turns out he broke into our mutual next door neighbor's house sometime yesterday and took about 15 CDs, a bunch of checks, some TheraFlu (desparate!), and a cheap watch. Police were over this morning taking info when I told my burgled neighbor: hey, I bet I know who took your stuff! Burgled neighbor bangs on druggie's door. Druggie's room-mate answers: "I was wondering where this stuff came from," and returns everything but the checks, which are still missing with druggie.

It's a good thing. Now I know he'll be in jail and out of my hair.

Oh yeah! Good call, Givette. Except this idiot left a lot of valuable junk behind, including his foot-print on the couch. LOL.

Unfortunately he'll probably be out on bail real quick.

Well, he's out right now. His arraignment has to be in the next day or so. Then maybe he makes bail, maybe not. But he's got a record already (guess what? writing himself bogus prescriptions!) and was actually 86'd from the state of ID for the duration of his probation.

Hopefully the judge figures out that this guy is a repeat offender with a repeat problem and gives him some real time. Either way, the landlord's gonna have a revolt on his hands if the guy doesn't get evicted.
