It would be helpful if some of you could resist the the urge to jump into a discussion for no purpose other than to insult or criticize one of the participants. I can't believe how often I see threads where some third party posts a comment, totally unrelated to the actual topic, meant only to rip one of the members engaged in the discussion. Frequently the discussion was going along just fine until the intrusion by someone whose only intent was to make an unkind, personal comment. At that point the jabs start going back and forth and the thread degenerates and must be deleted.
If member A is discussing a topic with member B, member C should not jump in for no reason other than to point out that member A is a doody-head.
This is unfair to the person who started the thread and to those who were participating. It also violates the posting guidelines and is generally impolite behavior.
As with any group there will be members you don't agree with or even like for some reason. Please just ignore them and refrain from picking fights with these people in the middle of other member's threads and ruining the discussion for everyone else.

Perhaps Member C should be more forthcoming in their opinions, such as informing
Member A or Member B that they arre Donkey-Heads.
Furthermore, Group D less Core Group X leaves subsets including Groups A & B, but not parts of C. Generalizations of Group C made by X & D/H leaves undersets comprised of ...

LOL ... I thought most of those guys self-destructed and ran away a long time ago!
This board has run a LOT smoother since then.

I agree with Saxon. It's pretty obvious what kind of comments end up getting a thread poofed. If you really need to tell somebody that they are a stupid ass, you should at least have the courtesy to get your own thread instead of getting someone else's discussion poofed.
