Something to think about.
We all know the Mexicans have invaded. They do alot of jobs no one else would do. But a thinking question???? Why didn't the Blacks/ low income whites do them same jobs the Mexicans are doing now , instead of paying Welfare to either of them. Welfare still exists

Here's a better question. Why not deport all the lazy SOB's sucking welfare dry and let the honest hard working illegals learn English and take their place as citizens? We could still deport the good for nothing illegals as well. I know several Joses that I wouldn't mind calling neighbor and many more so called Americans that I wouldn't want within 100 yards of me or mine. 0 -
They were doing many of these jobs. The problem is that the darn mexicans have lowered the pay scale to where an American cannot afford to make a living doing the same job anymore...we don't live 30 to a house...or in these shanty towns the mexicans have built for themselves.[V] 0 -

How about a new welfare plan. We'll call it "The Freedom to Work Act" Welfare payments will be given for a certain number of months. After that nothing, nada, Zilch.

Do not fool youselves. No Mexicans, food bill will go up, maybe 25%, because of raised labor costs. No one else will work for the present wages. Not even you. Or will you?

I am tired of hearing they ONLY take the low paying jobs no one else wants,,,,BULLSNOT,,,I am in the building material business,illegals have taken over the building business,I know brick/rock masons ,roofers ,dry wall guys and flooring guys that have been run out of business by the low bids made by illegals or companies using illegal labor, I run into a framing company a few weeks back that only has mexicans,pays them a flat rate of $60 dollars a day and they work at least 12 hours a day,,,so your right there are not many carpenters that will work for $5 an hour....they have not taken the low paying jobs they have CREATED THE LOW PAYING JOBS,,, 0 -

Many reasons, economics mostly. Many employers hire illegals under the table. The employers skirt many expensive rules and regulations plus don't pay taxes on income gained. The employees don't pay taxes either. Employers that do obey the law compete at a disadvantage and many go out of business or take what leftover business they can scrounge.
Welfare is a better standard of living than minimum wage. it is a symbiotic relationship between government bureaucrats/politicians and welfare recipients. If the government was able to separate the lame from the lazy the lame who welfare was intended for would live better lives and the lazy would have to go to work. Then the welfare department would not get as much funding, the politicians would not be able to exchange gifts of welfare for votes.0
