I'm going to buy an engine block and build it up to exactly what I want when I get ready to finish my truck. Not any time soon, though. The money from my AK is going to go partially into my motorcycle and partially into the bank.0 -
you said your gonna do a 302 build? My buddy did a nice 302 build. He got a set of 351 heads from the junkyard, put some roller rockers on it, nice flowmaster exhaust. overall very nice, not too powerful, but enough to let you know it would beat your car! 0 -

I want mine to push 500 horse and 500 lb-ft of torque. With the complete frame up resto mod, I figure that it'll be able to handle it.
BID ON MY AUCTION!0 -
Best I can do for you is bump this thread back to the top.
That's way over my budget.
Less than 4 hours now, Good luck.0 -

I would think that you would get atleast 1300 for it being a milled underfolder. Its got some nice lookin furniture to boot also[8D]Goodluck!
Also, goodluck trying to squeeze 500&500 out of a 302.If you want to get into the 500hp/tq range why not just go with a BB?Will save you money, headache and reliability.0 -

Not enough room for a big block in a Ranger. Plus the power to weight ratio wouldn't be as impressive.0 -
What Im trying to say is you will be lucky to get 390hp from a late model 5.0 block, stroked with 351 Winsor heads and still be able to drive it.Wich isnt nothing to sneeze at. 0 -

What about a twin screw super charger with EFI?0 -
Definately could get 500+ by supercharging.Actually, now that I think about it,I hear that Ford is coming out with a 5.0 331ci Boss crate motor with Z-heads that is putting out 500hp with a very affordable pricetag of $5,000. 0 -
Somebody just might hit your buy it now. 0 -

It's not a chopper. Is a very fine example of Russian weapons design. Tell her it's a collectors piece.0 -

She's still mad about the AR-15 with Beta mag I bought earlier this year on GB! She calls it a RAMBO gun! [:D]0 -

Or just kick her out and buy whatever you want. [:D][B)]0 -
Zulu - Here's another bump for you. You got that Ranger set up for the small block yet? You're a braver man than me. Conversion stuff is tough to find for them Fords. Not to mention expensive. Check out Mini Truckin' magazine for some neat ideas. I'm not big on the air bags and notching, but it's amazing what some of those guys can do with mini's. Good luck!
By the way, you can get a BB in a Ranger, I've seen it done. I've also seen a BBC in a Chevette. I wouldn't recommend either.0 -
uh oh...times running out.
