No, the little rifle posted is a 027 Hamilton, probably the cheapest made .22 ever. It was "all" stamped sheet metal, including the cast iron, sheet metal wrapped barrel. The cast barrel has a brass liner.
In this picture, the second and third pictured are a Winchester 1902 and 1904. The 9mm model 36 looked nearly identical to these.

Yes, size matters. Once I whipped out a little 1 5/8" Chief Special and the perps acted no different than if I took out a ball point pen. It's prudent to be prepared for a similar bluff unless you're willing to shoot and take the consequences. 0 -
