    Since one kilogram is equal to 1000 grams (no surprise there) and you drank 1 liter of water per day for an entire year (365 liters) you would have to be absorbing nearly 2.75 grams of E Coli per liter (365 liters/1000 grams) to reach the level mentioned. To put this in perspective: A standard package of Sweet and Low contains one gram so each liter of water would have to contain nearly three of those packets filled with E Coli and I doubt that you could get those level in this country drinking from a sewage outfall.

    I'd like to see these "carefully controlled trials"

    If water contained any e-coli you would get sick from it...

    Ever since Gun Broker members determined that chlorine is a WMD (which justifies everything GW is doing in Iraq) chlorine can no longer be used in water purification due to it's danger :(insert photo of WWI gas victim here). I guess this explains why E Coli levels are climbing.

    Subject: Wine or Water
    In a number of carefully controlled trials,
    scientists have
    demonstrated that if we drink 1 liter of water each
    day, at the end of the
    year we would have absorbed more than 1 kilo of
    Escherichia coli (E. coli)
    bacteria found in feces. In other words, we are
    consuming 1 kilo of Poop.
    However, we do not run that risk when
    drinking wine (or rum, whiskey,
    beer or other liquor) because alcohol has to go
    through a purification
    process of boiling, filtering and/or fermenting.
    Remember:
    Water = Poop
    Wine = Health
    Therefore, it's better to drink wine and talk
    stupid, than to drink
    water and be full of $#!t.
    There's no need to thank me for this valuable
    information; I'm doing
    it as a public service.

    Apparently you have drank alot of both. Thanks for the info

    Reminds me of a supposed WC Fields statement:

    "Water? I don't drink water. Fish f**k in water!"
