I used to own one. Here's my opinion.

If you want a gun to keep under the front seat of your car 24/7 for protection, nothing beats a Lorcin L380. They're cheap, and in the event that someone were to break into your car and get your gun, it isn't any big deal, because they can be replaced very easily.

Keep in mind that the Lorcin L380 is the #1 gun on the list of making it into a criminal's hand. The average time from legitimate sale to the criminal's possession is less than a year, and no other gun comes close.

They are EXTRAORDINARLY inaccurate. At 25 yards, you're lucky to hit paper. More times than not you stand a better chance of chucking the gun at your target rather than shooting it. However, if someone stuck their head in my car window, I guarantee that the person would have left dead as a doorknob.

They jam like crazy, no matter what quality of ammunition you purchase.

Again, if this was something that I wanted to keep in my car for safety's sake, I'd buy it. For any other purpose whatsoever, I'd not.

PLEASE do us a favor and not count your life on it. If you want a cheap gun that will go bang(notice it didn't say "Everytime you pull the trigger"?) and are NOT using it for protection, go for it. If you are going to buy a gun for personal protection, there are plenty of used guns for $125 +/-. CZ 52, Makarov's, etc.

Does there "MOST ECONOMICAL HANDGUN IN THE WORLD" mean anything?

Cousin had one. We fired 4-5 rounds off the deck. Took it part. Put the pin back in place, and fired the rest off the clip. WE laughed about its craftsmanship.

I'd rather keep a cheap .22 revolver from a pawnshop in my vehicle. At least they wont jam and they are way more accurate.
