Remington Rolling Block

I am looking at a Remington Rolling Block in 7x57 for a platform for a 219 Donaldson Wasp. Will this action handle the Wasp?

  I have a Remington rolling block that dates Oct. 23,1901 in 45/70 cal.Can anyone tell me anyting about it and value because it is not listed in Blue Book.

  Try Flaydermans, that would be considered an antique. Value will be somewhere in 4 figures, depending upon condition, the new ones, even the Italian made replicas are over $1000.

  First of all it's likely that this is not the original caliber. Remington made tons of these in military calibers for armies around the world and these are often re-barreled to sporting calibers. Does it have a military look to it or does it look like a sporting arm? An original sporting rifle would be worth some money. As a rebuilt sporter they still fetch a pretty penny and are great fun, too.

  Sorry, that is a relic, not an antique according to our brave BATFags.
  It is likely one of the old conversion kits commonly available when these first hit the shores a few years ago.
