As always, shareing the progress with you.
Reached a milestone tonight...the test fit of all the polished parts to be sure everyone goes into place smothly and function the way they should.
All went well! a few spots that need a bit more polish and this part of the job is done.
once the new stock is fitted off to the bluers, and start the carved stock!

Good work!
I've worked on one model 1890. The guys kids played cowboys and indians with it. Somehow the rear of the frame got peened, and the hammer couldn't get to the firing pin. Did a little file work, and he was happy.0
