    Ask Wallie. He has lots of experience with cannons.

    Does it show "aperture settings" anywhere?

    If you have it on the camera, that might be your F stop.

    texas - nope, cant find anything on the aperature settings either.

    bigal - the ISO settings are something completely different, that was my thought right away...

    Then the camera must not have F stop settings.

    I have a Rebel XTi and it has all the bells & whistles -- I'm still trying to learn how to use it.

    texas - i was thinking the same thing. but on the front of the lens...all those numbers that most people think mean nothing (me included)...the last of the numbers that read (for example); 1:2.8-4.9

    2.8 - 4.9 is the range where i can supposedly change..

    <sigh>

    Call Canon Tech Support and ask them -- bet they'd know.

    Number should be in your camera paper work.
