Caught a big fish..

Woman calls for her and her boyfriend to rent. I check with county records on line for criminal activity. She is clean except for one ticket.. He has a pending murder charge.. and I guess out on bail. NO thanks..[:0] This website is great.

    what if he killed someone in self defense, and is just going through the process, they don't give bail to murderers easily

    I retext my message.. accused of murder is good enough for me not to rent to him [:D] BTW.. His girlfriend of 6 months said she knew nothing of this and was checking the website. She said if I was correct.. and his name and birthdate was what she said... she was leaving his a**

    Good work select fire.
    We had a family that wanted to move in one of our houses. They said their son would be living with them.
    We did the check on mom and dad. They came back clean, no criminal record, good credit.
    We did not do the check on the son. Turned out to be a 33 year old crack head who had just gotten out of the Florida pen for breaking into cars and stealing stereos. Had a rap sheet as long as my arm.
    He continuted his criminal activity in our house, he was stashing the stolen stereos in our laundry room.
    I talked to one of the cops who searched our house at 3 am, he told me, "Y'all have a very nice house."
    What a nightmare.

    My book. If he killed in self defense. He would have not been charged with murder and awaiting trial.
