29 is a heat wave. i don't know why you bothered with the t-shirt. our girls swimteam just cut a hole in the ice on the lake for the last swim meet. they are still runing around in bikinis and flipflops.

Yesterday I was at Gulf Shores lying in the sun. Tonight it's in the thirties. Damn, it's gonna be a late winter.

Its funny how I did our grass here at the new house. I used to live in the woods and had absolutely no grass to mow.....so the mower was a whole new monster to figure out. I thought I was doing an excellent job and cut the entire yard (to a burnt up patchy mess.) I didn't know there were "levels" to mow the grass to in order to keep it alive.

I am pretty certain the neighbors are aware I am new to the whole lawn thing. First I burn it up....then I'm out there spreading fertilizer and seed around...then the whole toilet paper thing....next is mowing my dead grass in minus freezing temps. I think I am due for some type of intervention.

Lack of rain has killed of a lot of our grass. But, I do have a lot of leaves.

It's raining and the wind is blowing up here on the left coast, can't see the grass for the wet sloppy snow. But I did have elk roast and home grown taters and carrots for supper, washed down with good ol' CC& water. Life is good, if you don't weaken.

You are right Cowdoc. -35 is starting to get a bit chilly. I don't normally take the sled to work them days. the wind chill gets a bit nasty, but its not too bad if it warm up to -20 for the ride home.

Re: bama55: yes. It's life like normal. you just get to work and make dang sure you plug the truck in. and if its a diesel you may want to leave it run all day. [:D]
