So, what you're saying... is that the US fights it's own holy war...

Now that Jesus got pulled into it...

Happy...the war we are fighting right now is an idealogical war and the depth and magnitude of what's at stake (and needs to be done) are beyond most people's comprehension. In the eternal scheme of things, I do believe it is a Holy war...and the evil we are fighting knows no end.

I have no doubt that this is true.
Most people dont understand how far the extremist are willing to go.
For that matter(thanks to the media) most people dont understand that the war in Iraq is not only over but that we won.
What were fighting now is the above metioned idealogical war, and it better for us to be fighting it over there than over here.

    A mother asked President Bush,

"Why did my son have to die in Iraq?"

There is a mother out there (everyone knows her name by now) trying to ask GW exactly that question, he keeps ducking her and the GB Gripe Group keeps bad mouthing the woman.

And her son said: "I wish you'd stop this garbage, you're embarrassing me. Dad and everyone else in our family has disowned you over what you've said, you sold out to the liberals. I went to war because I believed the cause was just, and you're telling everyone I was a liar by disrespecting my actions".

    "he keeps ducking her"

    Wrong!

    He met with her
    & consoled her.
    Then she met Michael Moore
& became a liberal lunatic stalker.

Just how many times does he
    have to accommodate her?

Way to speak for the dead. And insinuate that the military is completely composed of blissfully ignorant cannon fodder.

I don't care what you see on the Hallmark Special or what the people in your Conservative newsletter tell you: nobody's last thought as they lay dying on the battlefield is "Gee, I sure am glad I got to give my entire life away for my President's big plan to save the world from evil."

"The dead know only one thing: It is better to be alive."

You're just as bad as Cindy Sheehan, doing puppetry with the mouths of dead soldiers.

dont even try to compare WWII to Iraq, we were not attacked and our very nations existence threatened by iraq.

Yea... youlll bring up 9-11, and just pretend iraq had something to do with it.

There is a big difference between WW2 and Iraq.
Bush and Cheney have been trying to get people to think that the two wars are equal.
It is sad to see that, in part, they have succeeded.
    Somewhere, Josef Goebbels is smiling.

The answer is in the original post. Here it is again in case you missed it.

"So that others may have life and dwell in peace,
    happiness and freedom."

I wouldn't think to speak on behalf of Cindy Sheehan's son. I will say that I'm not afraid of death. I will say that I would be sorely ashamed if my own mother carried on the way Cindy Sheehan does in such extreme fashion. She's a nutjob.

This post was rhetorical in nature. Of course I can't speak for him, but as a wounded combat veteran that nearly died, I think I have a good idea on how he would feel.
