Someone should check the new Lotus Elise because you have to roll into the car to get into it.[:0]

Just found it on the net and its 45" high, I thought it would be a lot shorter than that. Its a tiny car. Weight is less than 2000lb. has a 1.8 liter toyota engine with 190 hp. Runs 0-60 in 4.9 and will do 150 mph. Cost is around 50K for the Elise and 78K for the Exige Cup, 243 hp.

This bad boy would be x-tra fun to drive.. I checked the C-3 and C-4 Corvette's rooflines. Seems Chevrolet is going backwards.. The 74' Convertible is 47.3" and the Grand Sport is 46.3" tall. New ones at 49".. I don't think so..

Check the Jaguar XJ220 and Ferrari F-40 specs. They might be lower. The original GT-40 is my dream car.

In movies? Those are altered versions. They sit higher then a normal trailer. I'll guess 40in, plus or minus; depends on the trailer and load.

Heck, I owned a 1974 Europa back in 1988. Expensive to buy parts and actually not a real good handling car. At least your posting had a roof line. ( Hardtops )..[8D][8D]

You forgot to mention terrible acceleration and they were barely able to crank out a three digit top speed.
