Pretty good weekend at the gun show
Didn't sell a lot of stuff (didn't take any firearms). But I did pick up a 4 inch blue Smith 19, and 65, 3 inch. Both in great shape. Spent a little more than I made, but what the heck. I'm happy. Talked to a lot of folks I haven't seen since last year. This was the first time I set up a table. I don't believe I will make it a habit, but will probably do a few more.
Funny thing. Talked to the ATF folks, at their table. One asked if they could help me. I said no, just looknig at the paperwork/forms. A guy said "isn't that a $5 charge?". I said, I hope not. One cute young lady made the statement "We're from the gov't., we're here to help" (kind of funny/sarcasticly (sp?)). They all laughed. I said "yeah, right!". They still laughed. Talked to her about getting my FFL again. I might, I haven't decided yet.

No, I missed that one. I didn't get to look at everything. I did a guick run through of the M1 Carbine collectors display. Saw Audie Murphy's and Gen. Bradley's carbines. I didn't tarry long, it would have put me in another collecting mood. [;)] This was the AGCA gun show in Birmingham.
If you saw a table with a 155mm with M577 fuze on it, a 155 cut in half on a plaque, that was mine.0 -
I think I saw it. I was on a mission to find some specific brass and didnt pay a lot of attention to anything else. It was a pretty good show though. 0 -

LF, couldn't leave my table that long. It was a pretty good show. Lot more people than in the past. Good to see a lot of younger folks too.0 -

I made the mistake of letting my wife see the 65. Now she loves it. I may have to find another as she is probably going to take it from me.[:D]0
