    I was thinking of breaking out the 45/70 but i doubt if ill pony up the cash for whatever a box of 45/70 costs these days. probably .22 as usual

    probably nothing,
    my 1911 threw a fit (something wrong with trigger/sear/hammer) so I probably won't be shooting until my 1911 can join the rest of my guns.

    I'm takeing, Marlin 30-30, SKS, 2 RIA .45's, 1 black Crickett .22, 1 pink Crickett .22, and a XCAM .22 pistol.

    I figure that should keep me busy for awhile![;)]

    I will be getting the kids up shortly to get ready to go.

    Can't answer this question, as there are those in the gubmint that have sensors and pick up on this stuff.

    Anyway, I don't have any guns. Guns are evil and have minds of their own. They spray bullets everywhere indiscriminately, even when left alone on the kitchen counter and totally unloaded. Plus, you don't have any reason to own one, and neither do I. Only the government should have guns and then, only then, can we live in that great Utopian society that we hear so much about from the likes of Chuckie Schumer. Anyway, guns and violence are all Bush's fault. If we could only get a Clinton back in office, this country would be at peace with itself and the world.

    Was at the range yesterday, and even though I was R/O, I got to shoot up the last of my .22 ammo from 2002, now going to shoot up recently reloaded .45 all day today, If I get a chance. I am R/O today from 1200-1600.

    Assuming it doesn't rain today or tonight, the cowboy guns will get a workout at our monthly club match tomorrow. [;)]

    All 45's nicely stoked with black powder. With the humidity being pretty high right now, the smoke is just gonna hang everywhere! [:D]

    Rusty B: I printed out one of the targets you posted. Went to the range, 50yrds standing. I hit everything but the target even shot and broke my target frame[:(]. Still working on my hand gun skills, Maybe by Fall I'll be able to post a target with holes in it.[:)]

    i didnt do much better than that. handgun at 50 yard is no joke, and im the first to admit i suck. maybe we should go with 25 yards

    25yrds is the closest range at the range I shot at. So that is what I practice at. I'm in. Picking up some ammo tonight but not sure if I have time to get pistols in tomorrow before we hit the trap range. But I will by Wed. 25yrd, standing, open sight, center fire and rim fire correct?

    30.06's, we are going to practice for our hunt. Maybe some pistols, 357, .44 mag .45, .22 if the wife feels up for it. It just gets too hot here after 11:00a.
