how to install screw in chokes
i want to install a coyote choke in my mossberg 500. i dont want to spend the money to buy an new barrel that has the accu choke system in it because of the cost of a new barrel. are there any instructions on how to install these screw in chokes. do they just thread the barrel and screw them in. any help would be great. this gun is just a truck gun and i dont want to put much money into it. just want the coyote choke added.

is your barrel a fixed choke? If it has threaded barrel then you can buy the chokes all you do is oil the threads and then screw it in till tight. I you have a fixed choke mossberg will rework the barrel for a decent price. 0 -
If the barrel is not allready threaded - you will need a gunsmith to do that for you.
I guess it'd be easier/cheaper to get a used rifled barrel and just go with a good slug.0
